About

My work expresses the phase in which various figures’ acts happen simultaneously. In these works, cause and effect are spun by linking lines together. When I freely embody such lines, I discover stories and Karma I did not expect initially. Of all components, “line” is an essential element in my work. So, Etching and Drawing have taken a pivotal role in my practice.

“Lines are ambivalent: they are a division, as we can see borders between countries on maps, or they are connections, as we can see in networks, both physically and metaphorically. Lines are concrete and illusionistic.

Based on that concept and fully orchestrating my own imagination, lines appear as if hovering between my conscious and subconscious. And I believe it is most important to discover unexpected stories that arise from my work by amalgamating these free lines.
